GENERAL DIETARY RECOMMENDATIONS

– Buy organic, whenever possible, with minimum of chemicals

– Sugar, salt, oil, and fat consumption should generally, be kept low

– Eat smaller portions more frequently during the day

– No food intake after 8pm

– Include different colors of natural food on your plate = more variety of different vitamins and minerals.

– Green Tea every morning can be very cleansing and invigorating

– Drink water throughout the day

– Cut down on dairy, cream, refined sugars, etc.

– Grill, bake, and steam your food rather than fry or boil

– Whenever possible enjoy a walk after meals

– Limit or eliminate processed food

– Eat what is in season

– Fatty fish: salmon, mackerel, tuna, sardines
– Strawberries, blueberries, cherries, and oranges
– Red grapes
– Soy

– Legumes

– Refined carbohydrates
– French fries
– Soda
– Red meat
– Margarine
– Alcohol
